Hiking

Around the village there are plenty of forest roads and trails that offers hiking in beautiful nature.

You can try to do the top tour up the mountain "Särkivaara" and its mountain topp "Nimilaki" or footpaths along Ängesån where a good starting point is at Myllyranta.

For more demanding tours are trails on the big marshes, or the elongated road and trail on the east side of Ängesån wich is easiest accessed via the forest road that goes upstream from the bridge over the river.
